I take lots of care to provide valuable information, but I cannot be responsible for the use that you make of that information. Please be aware that the generalised information I provide – particularly about mental health and physical well being – is not a substitute for specialist advice tailored to your individual circumstances and personal situation.

I take my professional responsibilities very seriously. There is no professional relationship formed between us unless you explicitly choose to work with me by purchasing my services or products.

Any testimonials and promised results I may display on this website are based on my experience and those of my previous clients. They are not guarantees that anyone else will achieve the same results.

I may modify this information provided on this website at any time, including altering or deleting it without notice.

I ask you to always question the validity and resonance of my messages in relation to your own personal and professional values and experiences. Please consider the risks and benefits involved in applying any advice or ideas to your unique situation before acting on any information I provide. From time to time, I may offer podcasts, meditations and other downloadable audios or videos for your interest and enjoyment. I take every care to ensure that these downloads are clean at the time they are uploaded. However, you must take precautions for your own safe use of technology. I am not responsible for any viruses or other damage that may inadvertently occur as a result of downloading material from my site.

EXTERNAL LINKS

I love to cite, refer and link to other people’s work. This in no way makes me responsible for the content of those sites, or for how you perceive or interpret what you may read on my site or on any other site that I reference. If you choose to dive down the rabbit hole, I wish you an interesting and illuminating adventure, but where you go and how you feel about it is entirely up to you!

THIRD PARTY ADVERTISEMENTS

I do not display any third party advertisements on my site, with the exception of an occasional acknowledgment for a product or service I use. For example, I created my website with Squarespace and display a link acknowledging their contribution to my presence on the internet. I have no relationship with these businesses other than as a consumer of their services.

Disclaimer

This disclaimer relates to professional self care and other services. Under this umbrella, I offer:

  • professional debriefing

  • relationship coaching

  • toxic workplace management

  • toxic relationship management

My intention is to equip clients with the skills and practices they need to navigate workplace relationship complexities such as aggression, bullying and moral distress to improve their own experience of life and the way they choose to serve others through personal transformation.

MY RESPONSIBILITY

This is ground breaking work that does not yet exist in an education and training context. There is currently no professional qualification for a service provider known as a Narcissism Hacker who helps people hack narcissism in personal and professional relationships. My vision is to make this happen now by providing these services myself, and in the long term to develop a qualification or RTO to train others in this important field. In doing this I rely on my training in:

  • trauma-informed facilitation

  • evidence-based partnership-centred practice

  • spirituality-informed mentoring

  • wellness coaching & facilitation

  • meditation

  • mental health first aid

  • mediation/dispute resolution and

  • the almighty PhD.

I work within a strict code of conduct and ethics and I maintain appropriate insurance and professional support.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

My work can involve deep personal discovery and transformation and sometimes this can be accompanied by emotional turmoil. If you are experiencing something like this, please come and talk to me. However, you must be willing to take responsibility for your own choices and actions and not shoot the messenger! On the other hand, you may feel like nothing is happening. You are also welcome to talk about that with me, so long as you understand in advance that everyone experiences this work differently and that I am only handing you the tools. What you do with these tools, and how successful you are in achieving your goals with them, is completely up to you. The power to change your life is yours, not mine.

It is important to remember that you always have the right to use your free will at any moment, to say no, or to disagree with my suggestions, opinions or insight. I promise not to be offended if you do.

THINGS YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF

I offer a psychosocial, ecological, tactical & spirituality-informed intervention that focuses on influences on physical health and interacting complex systems, including systemic inequality. These are not interventions used in conventional healthcare. This service is not a substitute for any health service or treatment from a qualified medical practitioner, although it is a complementary approach that may support the effectiveness of other interventions and therapies.

The effectiveness of the service I provide depends on the level of communication between us. Problems may arise if:

  • you are not clear about what to expect from me

  • you have changes in your needs, or

  • you expect outcomes that you have not told me about.

If any of these situations should arise, it is very important that you let me know sooner rather than later so we can reassess the direction of our work together. If you have any concerns about working with me, or if any concerns arise during our sessions that you leave you feeling uncomfortable in any way, please talk to me about this, or seek appropriately qualified independent professional advice.

SUITABILITY

I have primarily designed this service to assist executives and healthcare workers who are seeking support to reflect on their practice, to offload their emotional build up from working in intense or stressful settings and learn strategies to effectively navigate complexity.

This service may change your life in ways that cannot be predicted or controlled. You may experience changes in the way that others relate to you, and how you experience the world. If you want to stay exactly as you are, this is not the right service for you.

Payment Terms

FORMS OF PAYMENT

I accept credit cards, PayPal and direct bank deposit / EFT.

PAYMENT PLANS

Payment plans are only available for my 3 month mentoring program. Please enquire if you would like to know more.

SECURITY POLICY

I accept online payment through Acuity Scheduling, PayPal, Square and Stripe. I do not hold any of your credit card or banking details myself. The security of your payment information is governed by the policies of the relevant third party service provider. You should familiarise yourself with their terms and conditions before trusting them with your sensitive account details.

Delivery of Services

I provide services online using Zoom or any agreed on platform.

If I cannot make a scheduled online session, I will provide you with at least 3 hours notice (except in rare emergencies). If you provide me with the same courtesy, we can reschedule without any penalty or additional payments.

You will need to fill out an intake form before your first session. It is part of the registration and payment process that you will complete in order to make your booking.

It is very important that you ensure you are in a comfortable, private space and that your children are being appropriately looked after for the duration of your session. Make this a sacred time for yourself, so you can deep dive into your life without distraction.

You will receive email confirmation when you book in which will include details of your session time, place and mode of connection. You will also get a reminder email 8 hours before your session.

Returns Policy

CHANGE OF MIND

I do not offer a refund for change of mind, so I encourage you to choose carefully when booking my services. Your commitment to the process is vital for your success. You may postpone your sessions for a maximum of three times if necessary, but you may not request a refund. All sessions must be used within the calendar year.

Consumer Guarantees

MINOR PROBLEM
Minor problems that may interfere with delivery of my services include:

  • problems with internet connection

  • disruption by family members, children or other distractions (yours or mine) that was not

    predicted

  • being late to a session (no more than once), or

  • temporary illness (yours or mine).

If a minor problem occurs, I will reschedule the session, or offer you a free session, at my discretion.

MAJOR PROBLEM

I do not promise any specific results as this process is all about self-inquiry, wellness and relational skill development. Your results will be unpredictable and unique to you. As a result I generally do not offer refunds.

However, if a service needs to be cancelled due to long term illness or an emergency that prevents us rescheduling within a reasonable time, I may provide a full refund. This is entirely at my discretion and will be considered on a case by case basis.

If you have booked into a longer term service, you have the right to cancel our agreement at any time without giving me a reason. However, I do ask that you think carefully about your reasons for doing so. This work can be uncomfortable at times – but the darkest hours may be just before the dawn. If you do notify me that you wish to cancel your future sessions, you will be refunded for any unused sessions that you have paid for, minus 10% for administration fees.

Respectful Communication

Any communication through or on my website needs to be respectful to me and to others. I reserve the right to delete any comments I deem unacceptable, whether because they are rude, offensive or for any other reason, without notifying or engaging in discussion with the person making the comment.

I undertake to communicate respectfully with you, and I reserve the right to refuse to provide services to anyone who is not appropriately respectful in their communication with me.

Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

JURISDICTION
This agreement, and my business, are subject to the governing law of Victoria, Australia. NEGOTIATION

If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this website or these terms and conditions, you agree to discuss it with me, and we both agree to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.

MEDIATION

If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, we agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator. The mediator is to be appointed by agreement between us or, failing agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, by the Victorian Small Business Commission, and if they cannot assist us, by the President of the Law Institute of Victoria. We agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us.

LITIGATION

We agree that neither of us may commence litigation, other than for urgent interlocutory relief, until we have first offered to submit the dispute to mediation. Litigation is to be considered a last resort and may not be commenced until, in the opinion of the mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.
